Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1 C. Mirin (Japanese sweet cooking wine)
  • 1 C. Soy Sauce
  • 1-2 Slices fresh ginger
  • 2 Cloves garlic, Minced
  • Pour Mirin into a saucepan. Heat to boiling and continue cooking in order to remove alcohol, approximately three minutes. Add soy sauce, garlic and sliced fresh ginger.

    Continue cooking a few minutes longer.

    Serve warm over fish, rice and chicken, or stir-fried vegetables.
